in previous posts i wrote how i'm doing a nail competition.. the theme is halloween.. this is the coffin everything is going in (soil, haunted house grave scene, pumpkin patch).. here are the finished monsters (minus draculas cape)
my first acrylic set.. so perfect even my instructor was amazed. no lumps, bubbles, etc. then i did a simple design because class was ending soon.. tomorrow i'm doing her a halloween theme to match our project... in fact i'm doing everyones.
after the other girls saw my work.. they all were begging me to do theirs tomorrow. honestly, i'm better than half the nail salons around here..
yesterday i did a shoot for Methods summer line.. at their new store in brooklyn. it was really fun.. they did our hair and make up pin up style. the girls i worked with were really nice and interesting. i'm doing an electricsex.com and nailsdid.com shoot with odi and winter on friday.. winter is this gorgeous girl i met today. i love that name.. winter. they spun boot camp half the time which was good.
i'll post some of the shoot on friday when i get a disc of them.. i saw some of the photos and they're absolutely amazing.
i can't stop listening to tegan and sara non stop. literally.

today i went to a fair in park slope with olga. she got a haircut. it was really humid. it's constantly raining here.. it stopped raining a little while we were there.. her brother and his girlfriend came. and his girls baby. hes so adorable. lots of babies everywhere.. i heard theyre doing a new show about roller moms... moms with their babies in the city like sex in the city.. hm...
